I never heard this played live. This is the song that first turned me on to Donovan. I'd never heard of him and a friend played Legend on his stereo (1966). I was fascinated and had to hear it over. I also never before had any interest in fairy tales, but this got me hooked , to fairy tales and to Donovan, I still love and listen to Donovan, especially my fave album : "Gift From a Flower to a Garden" (1967).
